I want to replace the entrance door of my apartment. Shall I also replace the doorframe or fit the door in the old doorframe?

We recommend that you replace the entire set which will provide you with trouble-free operation for the entire period of durability. If the apartment is really old, e.g. from the beginning of the 20th century, it is possible that the new door will not fit in the existing doorframe. On the contrary, in panel buildings, the standardized dimensions of doorframes were already used so it would be possible to use old doorframes. However, it is necessary to carefully measure everything to avoid disappointment. The ideal solution is to replace the door and doorframe together. In this way you will get a perfectly functional set which is balanced with regard to aesthetics too. If you are afraid of dirt or dust resulting from demolition, take into account the use of the metallic doorframe lining. It can be used for lining the metallic doorframe without demolition. In any case we recommend the use of specialized services of installation companies for the installation of any new doorframe.

Why is it impossible to use RC3 CPL on one side of the entrance safety door and veneer on the other side?

With SAPELI wooden doors RC 3 we offer the possibility of different design of doors on each side when maintaining material used. We do not use different materials due to the weight asymmetry of materials and risk of door deformation.
