We will measure your doors for free when ordering. However, if you want to take the measurements on your own, then proceed as follows:
Measure the size of a building opening from the finished floor (carpets, tiling) and the wall thickness with finished plaster
The maximum deviation of the standard door with rabbet (rabbeted) is -1 cm to +2 cm on width and -2 to + 1 cm on height
The maximum deviation of the rabbet-free door (non-rabbeted) is -0.5 cm to +2 cm on width and -2 to + 1 cm on height
Do not underestimate floors transitions. If the connection is correct, the floor from the next room will not be peeping out.
It depends on the doorframe option, i.e. in case of the doorframe of 6.5 cm in width (standard width) keep the minimum distance of 5 cm between the switch edge and the opening. If you consider the wider doorframe, e.g. 9.5 cm, the best distance is 7 cm between the edge of the switch and the opening.
The size of the building opening for building the door into a pocket depends on the pocket option which is chosen with regard to single-wing doors or two-wing doors, and on the type of door shift (opposite shift/shift to alignment/cascaded shift). Last but not least, the partition thickness also matters. You can see more on the page All about doors that slide into a pocket.
To provide the sufficient installation of the safety doorframe we recommend for a door of 80 cm x 197 cm (w x h) the opening of 90 cm x 201 cm (w x h) and for a door of 90 cm x 197 cm (w x h) the opening of 100 cm x 201 cm (w x h).
