In September, we opened the renovated SAPELI Development showroom in Prague’s Stodůlky, featuring the widest range of products and premium services that will be appreciated by demanding customers, including designers, architects, and developers.

At the beginning of the year, we opened a newly renovated showroom in Jihlava, setting the direction for the renovations of other showrooms.

Following two new showrooms abroad, we’re opening a second SAPELI Unlimited showroom in Czechia, this time in the South Moravian capital, Brno.

We kicked off 2023 by expanding abroad and opening another SAPELI Unlimited showroom, this time in Vienna. The new showroom is also known by the name of Wientür.

At the end of last year, we opened a new SAPELI Unlimited showroom in Munich’s mecca of design and architecture – the Hofquartier in Taufkirchen.

For our 30th anniversary, we’ve redesigned the logotype for SAPELI and our sub-brands SAPELI Centrum, SAPELI Point, SAPELI Unlimited, and SAPELI development.

This year, we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary. SAPELI was entered in the commercial register on 18 November 1992 and thus set out to build on the tradition of the family-run business in Polná, the history of which dates to the year 1898.

This year too, the iconic MUTEO door, the result of several years of collaboration with industrial designer Petr Novague, has added to its collection of prestigious awards. The full-glass variant MUTEO TONALE has won the 2022 Red Dot Award.
2019
Following several years of development in collaboration with renowned Czech designer Petr Novague, SAPELI introduced the patented innovative door opening system called MUTEO, which blends the door and the door handle into a single seamless whole. MUTEO has won a wide variety of prestigious design awards, including the Red Dot, the International Design Award, the A´Design Award, and, as the first Czech product in history, the German Innovation Award ´19 GOLD.
2018
In 2018, the company SIO2 was acquired by SAPELI, and SAPGLASS all-glass programme became a fully-fledged part of the company’s own portfolio offering a wide selection of SAPGLASS all-glass doors and walls for household interiors.
2017
In 2017, the SAPELI website underwent substantial changes that primarily helped improve the overall layout and user experience. In the prestigious 16th annual competition WebTop100, our website took 1st place in the Sales and Services B2C category.
2016
Next year, we will celebrate 25 years of the existence our company but this year we already present the new "rejuvenated" logo of SAPELI. The SAPELI Development is coming into existence and its goal is to work intensively on residential and commercial projects.
2015
The world belongs to the young! Therefore we decided to sponsor the first season of the competition INSPIRELI AWARDS - a competition for young architects and designers. Bořek Šípek, the celebrated Czech architect, was at the birth of it.
2013
We obtain the title Czech Superbrands Award for the first time which proves that our doors are well perceived both by customers and an international professional jury. We will obtain this in 2015 and 2016 as well.
2010
This is the largest sample room in the Czech Republic on the area of 750 m2. One year after that we obtained the title Firma Vysočiny (Company of Vysočina) and Odpovědná firma roku (Responsible Company of the Year) for reducing energy consumption by 50%.
2004
We crossed the magic landmark of the turnover of 1 billion. SAPELI doors and doorframes go to each family and beyond the border of our country.
2000
Production capacities are not sufficient; we buy a production factory for door production in Vyšší Brod and begin to go with trading partners to Vltava.
1995
Wooden doors also include wooden doorframes. The bell tolls for unattractive metallic doorframes and the first veneer lining doorframes so called "okazetky" from our factory are launching onto the market.
1992
The Procházka family returns to Polná u Jihlavy in Czech Republic and SAPELI comes into existence. At the beginning, there is a strong will, the enthusiasm of several courageous individuals and a love for timber. We have 6 door models in our offer.
